How many tiles do I need? Calculating a tiled area in square meters
To find out how many tiles you will need, measure the height of the area to be tiled, then measure the width. Then multiply the height by the width (so a wall 2 meters high by 4.5 meters wide would need 9 square meters. Do this for each wall to be tiled then add the total together to find out how many square meters of tiles your room will need. We recommend that you purchase 15% extra to allow for waste.
NOTE: You do not need to know how many individual tiles you will need as tiles are purchased by the square meter.
